OSIL is a Non-for-profit organization operating in Sudan before the separation (independence of South Sudan from Sudan) it covered Blue Nile and Nuba Mountain region of Sudan. At the moment OSIL undertakes work in all the ten (10) states of South Sudan including Abyei region.

OSIL has extensive experience in Humanitarian Aid Services, Mine Action, Health and Protection including through using livelihood support as a socio-economic entry point for community cohesiveness. OSIL is well entrenched into the local communities and government structures, making it relatively easy to mobilize qualified human resources and partners across the region and globe for undertaking activities.
